ok first i'm still losing my ass over the strip search from the second trial. i cannot believe giyuu asked him about his cursed shackle AND the ashes. like it's such a valid question to have BUT ALSO, HOLY SHIT MAN, WAY TO ASK THE WORST MOST AWKWARD QUESTIONS POSSIBLE AT THE WORST TIME. an instant, one hit KO...... it was so funny skgjfh i was dying. please.
aight. well! looking back at everything, i think yy probably is mentally scolding himself for missing out on signs, or at least the ones of shinobu and giyuu working together... two trials in a row, two strip searches where going around with shinobu was the reason for odd injuries... it wouldn't have led to a murder but knowing what they know now, it would make sense why he might have thrown himself so deeply into trying to fix it all. was that to stop everything, or to break the curse for himself? it's hard to tell (hopefully it's both.) it's a bit frustrating to think that he was the executioner the week before, too and in a way, he feels for that whole "being compelled" thing because hey! :) thanks for that!!! :)
yy doesn't know that giyuu had to pick him or anything icly which is a good thing. even if he does find out--which, eyes CRAU--i don't think he'll hold it against him that much. he was trying to stop it, which was apparent now, and... as much as yy hates that he was made complicit in it, yy also 200% thinks he deserves it for canon lore reasons so there's that. he's got questions as to why him, but, he won't ever ask them because like, why do things that emotionally competent people do.
if/when they go to the other game he won't be as wary as giyuu might think. in fact, it might lead to them being allies even more, and not just for familiarity. aside from that, yy's discovered through this whole thing the two of them have a lot in common and that's only really grown. (though yy sucks for not compelled reasons so hopefully giyuu only sucked for compelled ones. who knows.)
i look forward to it ufufufufu...

giyuu's initial opinion of yy wasn't anything stand out...sadly. he thought he was someone who was resourceful and potentially useful. the interesting thing for giyuu (or at least mastermind!giyuu) was to watch how yy behaved after being picked to carry out murder and how he behaved during trial, which it in itself was interesting for him because he knew exactly who killed but he didn't know who killed who.
though as the trial came to head, he started to realize who could have done what (with the exception of the outlier kill) and kept his mouth shut. all they needed was another name for a sacrifice and he didn't care what that name was as much as everyone else around him. that said, since he killed the same week that yy did, he wanted to make sure that he wasn't caught no matter what, so he could/would throw anyone under the bus if needed.
good thing that shinobu figured zoe out so he didn't have to do anything :) ...this is all mastermind giyuu, ofc, but actual giyuu felt rather guilty about the whole ordeal because he saw just how kind yy was. he didn't come off as liking violence and even carried around the remains of the person he killed—one of the reasons why he asked him about them during the strip check. he helped him bury the dead... yy wasn't someone who should have been made to kill. though the island was like, "good job" because he had found someone who carry out the deed and wouldn't expose themselves.
...though if he had at a later date, then that would have been fine. blood for the blood gods and all of that.
NOW THAT GIYUU IS A FREE MAN THOUGH—he's full of guilt bc he's feeling nothing but he can think his own thoughts. he gets to really feel the emotions of guilt of picking yy and knowing that he felt bad for what he did. yy was the remorseful of the two he picked that week. so in regards of if crau happens (and yy doesn't talk to him at the endgame) then he'll feel as though there is ground there that he won't be able to walk on—a person he doesn't deserve to deal with. so. nods......

no one has a standout opinion of him its fine :ˆ) and if nothing, he's good at getting the job done.... i felt like i got caught i wouldn't have been IC too LJGKSDH so it was especially good there. despite the emotional impact he was a good IC pick so good job giyuu lol... i'm glad these two are just completely absolutely emotionally competent and will clearly have a perfectly great talk about their feelings and then it'll be fine (haha)
i still havent decided if i'm going to endgame top level or not (or just continue running fastly away, i gotta think of a prompt that is not that) but even if they dont and we do do CRAU he may actually find giyuu first... the like "are you being controlled by someone now? no? ok. great lets survive this then" u__u because i think it might be nice to confirm that those are his true colors, not mastermindy scary things. not to mention maybe he'll know whats going on (he wont but they dont know that ICLy so hey.) he's a professional guy. they can work together for sure. (and maybe use real words some day. punches them both.)
